British Council Southern Africa Arts cluster and Hivos with support from Enthuse Afrika and Electric South are pleased to announce a great opportunity for hubs in Southern Africa through the Connect.Hubs programme. As such, we’re launching a new initiative called connect.hubs directory. The purpose of this directory is to foster partnership, learning, building connections and sharing between hubs.
This is an open call to all HUBS across Southern Africa: makerspaces, music studios, fablabs, collectives, online networks, co-working spaces, incubators, and more. If you bring your community together to work, collaborate or access resources, we want to support you. APPLY NOW to be listed in the connect.hubs directory. Up to 500 creative and social hubs from across Southern Africa will be selected for the connect.hubs directory that will list information about the hubs.
The hubs are expected to submit their information at www.electricsouth.org/apply. The selected hubs will be eligible to apply for a grant to complete a collaborative project. Up 20 grants will be awarded, between £2 000 and £10 000.
This opportunity follows an amazing week of hubs training programme in partnership with Nesta UK from 19-23 November.
APPLY NOW! -> www.electricsouth.org/apply before 14 December 5 PM SAST.
